Parking Authority

During the months of May and June the Parking Authority will offer Free Parking (90 minute maximum) on portions of Franklin St, Second St, and Strawberry Alley.  The 90 minute interval is granted once per day, per block.  Changing spaces within the same block will not extend the time allotted.  Violators will be fined $10 for overtime parking.

Mission Statement

To promote a quality living environment for the citizens and visitors of Clarksville by maintaining traffic flow, providing and maintaining spaces for vehicle parking throughout the city, and by enhancing public awareness and safety. We also work closely with the City Departments and Agencies to create economic stability and growth.

Operation of city-owned on- and off-street parking facilities. Meter maintenance, construction parking permits, hang-tag applications.

Location: First floor of City Hall, Main St side of building.

	The City of Clarksville Parking Pay Station Meter Accepts: U.S. 5, 10, 25 cents $1 coins and $1 Bills also accepts Visa & Mastercard. Note: Exact Payment Only & No Change Given! Minimum purchase with credit card is 1 hour. Hours of Enforcement: 8 am to 5 pm Monday thru Friday. Rate: $1.00 per hour - Maximum $6 per day.
